Behind the lens – Natalie Gornall
Hello! I am Natalie, a self taught Photographer and a qualified Doula. Doula work is definitely at my heart. There is no greater achievement than assisting a Mom through birth. There is so much fear around birth, and there really need not be! Birthing women are incredibly powerful. CSection Moms deserve a medal, there is just no easy way out! I aim to show you your absolute strength and power during birth. Through guided support and beautiful imagery, you’ll treasure your birthing moments.
My past self
I graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 2009, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Zoology and an Honours degree in Pharmacology. Thereafter, I pursued a career in Pharmaceuticals. After a family move to Cape Town in 2011, I pursued my passion in art and photography. In 2012 I fell pregnant and birthed my first daughter and thereafter found myself fascinated by Birth. Today, I specialise in photographing both natural and caesarean births in Johannesburg and Pretoria.
