Claire, Chris, Oliver, Sophie, Katie and Robbie! YES, four of them! FOUR adorable children! Wow, what a beautiful blessing! 🙂 We met at Tokai Forest – Sophie and Oliver on the loose and little Katie and Robbie being walked in their pram! What many would think a very disordered and chaotic photo shoot actually turned out to be a real success! We allowed the kids to play and have good ol’ fun! As for Mom and Dad, can you believe after four kids (including a set of twins at 10 months old), that you can still look so stunning?! Simply beautiful! The Visser Family shoot at Bieuleau Farm, Elgin | Cape Town Family Photographer

I was very honoured when Roelien Visser (a Photographer too) from Finishing Touch, contacted me to do their family shoot. Their little Man, Reynard, is only a little younger than Eva. What a cute little guy! He was full of smiles and just LOVED to dance among the apple blossoms with his Mum 🙂 We met at Bieuleau Farm in Elgin. We tried our best to catch the full blossom bloom but unfortunately we just missed it! It was still beautiful though!

The Choles Family | Cape Town Family Photographer

THIS utterly gorgeous family is my boetie’s (brother’s) family! 🙂 I was so very stoked to be at Oliver’s Birth, a good few months back, to take some awesome birth pics and now, 8 months on, I get to show you how he has grown and how flipping adorable this little guy is! He ALWAYS has a smile on his face! I just look at him and he gleams! Heart-melting! Beware folks, stay clear of this one, if there is even a hint of broody-ness in you!! I must admit, I was a little nervous about taking photograph of my other nephew, Daniel. He can be quite the feisty one! And well, what Daniel decides, simply GOES! I think visiting Gogi’s (Granny Hunt’s) garden for the pic’s was a hit! A familiar environment allowed him to be happy and playful! 🙂 Enough said, hope you enjoy the pic’s!

The Gross Family | Cape Town Family Photographer

I was invited into the beautiful home of The Gross Family a few weeks ago to photograph their wonderful family. They seem so complete with their two little boys. Mom warned me that little Zander had this nasty habit of pulling a face whenever someone tried to take a picture of him! he he! Well, when this little guy realised he was the centre of attention, boy, did he pose! He was loving it and of course to Moms utter surprise, no cheesy faces! 🙂 Gorgeous little Leo was only 7 weeks old at the time of the shoot. He was so chilled and ‘tried’ to catch some zizz at every opportunity he had! Good man, learning young to ‘just SLEEEEEEP!’ 😉 Thank you, Daniel and Lico, for inviting me into your beautiful home! xxx

The Breytenbach Family | Cape Town Family Photographer

I met Anja, DeWet and their little darlings, Lane and Kiana, at (yes, yet again) the gorgeous Radloff park in Somerset West! I absolutely adore this location – there is so much variety and the contrast between the lush green grass and the tall naked trees is just too much lovely-ness to bare. A truly wonderful spot to photograph a wonderful happy family. Lane, at four years old, is super friendly and always has a huge smile on her face! She loved the long walk and well, what a gorgeous poser! Kiana, who is turning two, seemed a little shy. She reminded me of my daughter – little round face with chubby cheeks and hair that curls but is straight all at the same time! Too gorgeous! Anja and DeWet are truly blessed with these wonderful angels! Need I say more… xxx

Lauren & Lexi | Mother Daughter | Cape Town Family Photographer

We met at the gorgeous Lourensford wine estate in Somerset West. Yep, my stunning home town! I was relieved to see that Granny was coming too! Oh, Grannies are wonderful! Boy, did this one go all out! Those super cute pic’s of Lexi laughing out LOUD, had me in STITCHES! The cherry on top, for sure, would have been a second shooter behind Granny… hehe There is something about these little ones, they make my heart sing! I love it! And little Lexi was no exception. What a stunning and beautiful little girl! I commented on her beautiful eyes, and Mommy proudly stated that they were her Daddy’s eyes! So with TWO (yes, two) bribery bags, off we went walking the estate! Lexi was wonderful and Mom too! A truly wonderful pair! Congrats, Mommy (and Daddy) on such a beautiful little girl! For ‘Dear Max’ | Cape Town Family Photographer

I was beyond honoured when Tanya Kovarsky asked me to take some photo’s of her son, Max, when they were visiting Cape Town over Easter. She is a Copywriter, Editor, Social media writer and Mommy blogger! No pressure! She runs a blog called ‘Dear Max’ where she writes almost daily to her Son. Such a wonderful idea and so wonderfully done! Please go see! I am so proud that she wanted me to take some of the pictures for her blog! 🙂 Max is so gorgeous! Mum had told me that he could be a little shy. Well, I had the perfect trick up my sleeve! I love painting, myself, so I got Max and Mum painting for the shoot! A real winner for Max!

The Haylett Family | Family

Liz and I worked together. We became pretty good friends, to the irritation of our Manager at the time! ;p We talked and talked and talked! I remember Liz being pregnant with her first born, Ysabelle. Oh how she loved her so dearly, since the very day she was concieved! Liz comes from a family of Girls and was convinced she was carrying a Boy. The first boy in many a generation! I kept telling her, nope, I’m afraid its a girl! ;p Never doubt this women, Im telling you! Liz got her little Boy, Noah. Not too long after Ysabelle! The perfect family! They were such a treat to photograph! And boy, did Noah make me laugh! Such a cutie!

The Hall Family | Families | Cape Town Photographer

Wow, I just could not resist posting ALL of these photos! What a beautiful family – Rod, Taryn, Thomas and little Piers! They live on a farm near Botrivier – Craigantlet farm. It was clear that the farm means alot to them as they wanted their photo’s to depict all the aspects of their living. So, we photographed everywhere! It was lovely. The dogs were such character’s too! Was really lovely! Poor little Thomas wasnt feeling well – the last pic shows his real feelings! 😉 But thanks to Mom and Dad, they cheered him up abit to get some gorgeous smiles! Thank you Taryn and Rod for allowing me in your home and to photograph your beautiful family!

Christmas in September! | Families | Cape Town Photographer

Yes, I am a little slow… I was clicking through my pics the other day and saw these, and thought to myself, gee, we had a really great Christmas and it deserved some attention! It was our first, after having moved to the Cape, and I was determined not to spend it alone! So in Joburg, we were. It was baby’s first christmas too… in mommy’s tummy! 😉 Lovely little family… These two are quite something together… as you can just imagine! Hmm…. ????!!! An Oh so lovely Xmas lunch by Sam, my sister-in-law… YUM it was! and I did find the home-made mince pies!! Hmm what did father christmas bring me this time?! 😉 Mmm… Scrumptious!!

Mother & Son | Robyn & Sebastian

Robyn is very dear to me… She played a very crucial role in one of the most amazing and difficult times in my life – The Birth of my daughter, Eva. I owe her everything. I have to say, if it weren’t for her (and my dear husband of course!) I might just have given up on a natural birth. BUT, Robyn, with her passion and love for what she does (being a Doula ;p), she gives new Mom’s a new found strength and perseverance. She allows you to feel what you feel and know that it is okay! It’s a BEAUTIFUL thing… Robyn, this is the very least I could do for you… A huge heart-felt THANK YOU! Know that what you did for me and my new family is worth way more than words could ever say!! And thank you for your friendship! This little dude has some crazy energy… definitely kept me (and Mum) on our toes!! A little taste of the crazyness! 😉
