Noah’s party took place at Mondeor Garden centre in Somerset West. It is a kids heaven! Jungle gyms, trampoline, splash pool, you name it, they got it! They even do pizza making for the kids! Such a fantastic party venue! The weather wasn’t too fabulous but with only a slight drizzle the kiddo’s could still go out and play. Mom, Anieke, really put effort into this party! She made the aeroplane cake, and she is no professional! WOW, was I impressed! Noah is obsessed with aeroplanes, well, of course, his daddy flies them daily, why wouldn’t he be! The cute runway and toy planes where a super hit! Very well done Mom! Noah arrived a little after all his friends! He seems a little stunned at first but soon warmed up, dug into his cake and had some good ol’ fun! In the Cape, it is quite a challenge lighting cake candles, as you can see! 😉 Hope you enjoy the party as much as these littlies did!
Saturday the 16th of November. Somerset West Floods. We (ALL) woke up at 4h30 to take hubby to the start of the Winelands marathon (which he was really looking forward to) only to be flooded in on both sides of our complex! We later heard, Vergelegen was flooded – the hospital across the road from us. Numerous ‘people’ were flooded. I awaited the call from Mum, Jacolien, to cancel Lisa’s party. Needless to say, she never cancelled, and thankfully the water subsided by the time I needed to leave! It rained ALL day, so Lisa and her little buds had to play and celebrate indoors! I’m not sure they noticed! With Cake and Flings, who would care, anyway! 😉 Many thanks to Jacolien and Chris for the support 🙂 May your beautiful Lisa bring you endless joy!
