Sweet little Kaylee was born via Caesarean section, healthy and happy.  The nerves were high but it was over with so quickly. It was a beautifully slow birth which allowed me to take some incredible birthing images.  I was very impressed with the hospital staff and the team of Doctors.  The staff were so down to earth, caring and friendly.  As soon as Kaylee was born she went straight to Moms chest and had some beneficial skin to skin.  She latched incredibly quickly too, whilst still in the theatre – so much so that the Paediatrician could hardly unlatch her in order to do her newborn checks.

Many thanks to Linsay and Deon for allowing me the honour of capturing their precious birth memories.  I do hope that one day Kaylee will look back on it in awe of the day that she came earth side.
