Four beautiful {Mom & Baby} ‘s

Whilst on our trip to Joburg, I met with my Sister-in-law, some Mums and their gorgeous Babes for a photo session! Wow, trying to get four baba’s to cooperate is not simple task! It was super fun though! I guess the trick is to simply let them be. It is quite important to me to photograph families and especially Mums. I feel, we (Mums) get left out a little. We are so focused on our beautiful baby that we spend hours taking pictures of them! Them with their Daddy, with their Granny and Aunty. Not many spare a thought for Mum. It is so important to capture Mum and Baby! Mum will ALWAYS look back at those special moments. Introducing Mums and Babes; Sam & Olivia, Joanne & Alexianne, Erica & Steven and my sister-in-law, Sam & Oliver! I think we got some awesome snaps and lovely memories for the Mums! I absolutely loved photographing these gorgeous little people and hope to do it again soon! Enjoy!

The Choles Family | Cape Town Family Photographer

THIS utterly gorgeous family is my boetie’s (brother’s) family! 🙂 I was so very stoked to be at Oliver’s Birth, a good few months back, to take some awesome birth pics and now, 8 months on, I get to show you how he has grown and how flipping adorable this little guy is! He ALWAYS has a smile on his face! I just look at him and he gleams! Heart-melting! Beware folks, stay clear of this one, if there is even a hint of broody-ness in you!! I must admit, I was a little nervous about taking photograph of my other nephew, Daniel. He can be quite the feisty one! And well, what Daniel decides, simply GOES! I think visiting Gogi’s (Granny Hunt’s) garden for the pic’s was a hit! A familiar environment allowed him to be happy and playful! 🙂 Enough said, hope you enjoy the pic’s!

It’s a Boy! {Handsome Cameron} | Johannesburg Newborn Photographer

Handsome Cameron, born to the wonderful Frances and Lloyd! His arrival sounded wonderful! A two and a half hour FIRST labour! Dad told me that Mom had period-pain-like cramps that evening and thought that maybe they should start timing the ‘pains’… to their surprise, they were 5 minutes apart! So at midnight they headed to the hospital and Mr Cameron arrived early hours of the morning, weighing a wonderful 3.7kg! WOW! Both Mom and Dad, are overjoyed. I cannot believe how easily both Lloyd and Frances have taken to parenthood. They are both incredibly calm. Cameron, at 11 days old, is so very alert and strong! Just look how he holds his head up!! Thank you, Lloyd and Frances, for inviting me into your home to photograph your wonderful new born baby, Cameron! He is delightful! xxx

Lloyd, Frances and Baby X | Cape Town Maternity Photographer

Lloyd and Frances are expecting Baby X! Yes, one of the few couples (these days) who are ‘waiting’ to finding out the sex! Shoh, I take my hat off. I couldn’t do it. I needed to know. The perfectionist I am, I needed to prepare – physically and mentally. Well, at 39 weeks, Frances is going strong! She is looking radiant and has a wonderful contentment about her. Her whole being is happily inviting labour and birth, and both herself and Lloyd are calming waiting to meet their precious child. It is wonderful to see. I know Baby will be warmly welcomed – it makes my heart happy. We met at Radloff Park, along the Lourens River, in Somerset West where we walked scouting for nice spots. They brought along their beautiful Golden Retriever, Lilly, who was all too happy to be the centre of attention! The weather was perfect – It was warm and the sun-setting-light was magnificent. It was too beautiful. Tall stark trees against lush green grass, brightly lit by intense yellow rays. Perfection (almost ;-)). Do you get more perfect than a Mom (and Dad :-)) happily growing a new life. xxx

The Wicht Family | Cape Town Family Photographer

What a treat! Little Alexander! Isn’t he just too gorgeous?! At 6 months old, he smiles all the time! He is so alert and looks at you as if he knows exactly what you are saying! Lauren & Lexi | Mother Daughter | Cape Town Family Photographer

We met at the gorgeous Lourensford wine estate in Somerset West. Yep, my stunning home town! I was relieved to see that Granny was coming too! Oh, Grannies are wonderful! Boy, did this one go all out! Those super cute pic’s of Lexi laughing out LOUD, had me in STITCHES! The cherry on top, for sure, would have been a second shooter behind Granny… hehe There is something about these little ones, they make my heart sing! I love it! And little Lexi was no exception. What a stunning and beautiful little girl! I commented on her beautiful eyes, and Mommy proudly stated that they were her Daddy’s eyes! So with TWO (yes, two) bribery bags, off we went walking the estate! Lexi was wonderful and Mom too! A truly wonderful pair! Congrats, Mommy (and Daddy) on such a beautiful little girl! It’s Max! |Johannesburg Newborn photographer

It’s a new life! A very dear and precious one! Marilise and Pierre welcomed me into their home and allowed me the privilege of photographing their new little bundle, Max. At 3 weeks new he was so very calm and allowed us to do our thing with hardly a wimper! Daddy was oh so very brave – he just cannot handle the poopy nappies, and as you can see he went all out! Little Max then decided he would make his mark on the situation! oh yes he did! 😉 Daddy didnt see the humour at all! Unfortunately!
