The Delpierre Family at Tokai Forest | Cape Town Photographer

Claire, Chris, Oliver, Sophie, Katie and Robbie! YES, four of them! FOUR adorable children! Wow, what a beautiful blessing! 🙂 We met at Tokai Forest – Sophie and Oliver on the loose and little Katie and Robbie being walked in their pram! What many would think a very disordered and chaotic photo shoot actually turned out to be a real success! We allowed the kids to play and have good ol’ fun! As for Mom and Dad, can you believe after four kids (including a set of twins at 10 months old), that you can still look so stunning?! Simply beautiful! Thank you Claire and Chris for intviting me into an hour of your lives! I am blessed and so happy to provide you with gorgeous memories of your beautiful family!

Noah turns 3!

Noah’s party took place at Mondeor Garden centre in Somerset West. It is a kids heaven! Jungle gyms, trampoline, splash pool, you name it, they got it! They even do pizza making for the kids! Such a fantastic party venue! The weather wasn’t too fabulous but with only a slight drizzle the kiddo’s could still go out and play. Mom, Anieke, really put effort into this party! She made the aeroplane cake, and she is no professional! WOW, was I impressed! Noah is obsessed with aeroplanes, well, of course, his daddy flies them daily, why wouldn’t he be! The cute runway and toy planes where a super hit! Very well done Mom! Noah arrived a little after all his friends! He seems a little stunned at first but soon warmed up, dug into his cake and had some good ol’ fun! In the Cape, it is quite a challenge lighting cake candles, as you can see! 😉 Hope you enjoy the party as much as these littlies did!

Cisca & Madison at Boschendal Wine Estate | Cape Town Photographer

I met with Cisca and her beautiful daughter, Madison, at Boschendal Wine Estate in Franschhoek. They live in the Netherlands and come to SA to visit family. Boschendal is a special farm as Cisca mom had preciously worked there, and so we decided to do some Mom and Daughter photographs in and around the farm. Mom had warned me that Madison was not in the greatest of mood. With this warning, I put on my friendly smiley face, knelt down to her level and made her feel comfy. She was wonderful! We let her play and run around. We blew bubbles and looked at flowers! She really was great! 😉 Madison only speaks Dutch, yet she understand English. Wow, at 21 months, it is simply amazing what these little minds know and learn! Here we are, introducing little Madison…

Mieke’s 1st Birthday | Cape Town Photographer

I was very honoured when Karen, Mieke’s mom, called me to photograph Mieke’s very first birthday! I did Mom’s maternity shoot and little Mieke’s newborn shoot! Wow, I couldn’t believe that one whole year had passed, and she has turned into the most adorable little girl! She has the most amazing blue eyes and such a wonderful calm personality. Besides bursting into tears from the big sparkler on her cake, she had a ball! 😉

The Visser Family shoot at Bieuleau Farm, Elgin | Cape Town Family Photographer

I was very honoured when Roelien Visser (a Photographer too) from Finishing Touch, contacted me to do their family shoot. Their little Man, Reynard, is only a little younger than Eva. What a cute little guy! He was full of smiles and just LOVED to dance among the apple blossoms with his Mum 🙂 We met at Bieuleau Farm in Elgin. We tried our best to catch the full blossom bloom but unfortunately we just missed it! It was still beautiful though!

Four beautiful {Mom & Baby} ‘s

Whilst on our trip to Joburg, I met with my Sister-in-law, some Mums and their gorgeous Babes for a photo session! Wow, trying to get four baba’s to cooperate is not simple task! It was super fun though! I guess the trick is to simply let them be. It is quite important to me to photograph families and especially Mums. I feel, we (Mums) get left out a little. We are so focused on our beautiful baby that we spend hours taking pictures of them! Them with their Daddy, with their Granny and Aunty. Not many spare a thought for Mum. It is so important to capture Mum and Baby! Mum will ALWAYS look back at those special moments. Introducing Mums and Babes; Sam & Olivia, Joanne & Alexianne, Erica & Steven and my sister-in-law, Sam & Oliver! I think we got some awesome snaps and lovely memories for the Mums! I absolutely loved photographing these gorgeous little people and hope to do it again soon! Enjoy!

The Choles Family | Cape Town Family Photographer

THIS utterly gorgeous family is my boetie’s (brother’s) family! 🙂 I was so very stoked to be at Oliver’s Birth, a good few months back, to take some awesome birth pics and now, 8 months on, I get to show you how he has grown and how flipping adorable this little guy is! He ALWAYS has a smile on his face! I just look at him and he gleams! Heart-melting! Beware folks, stay clear of this one, if there is even a hint of broody-ness in you!! I must admit, I was a little nervous about taking photograph of my other nephew, Daniel. He can be quite the feisty one! And well, what Daniel decides, simply GOES! I think visiting Gogi’s (Granny Hunt’s) garden for the pic’s was a hit! A familiar environment allowed him to be happy and playful! 🙂 Enough said, hope you enjoy the pic’s!

Lloyd, Frances and Baby X | Cape Town Maternity Photographer

Lloyd and Frances are expecting Baby X! Yes, one of the few couples (these days) who are ‘waiting’ to finding out the sex! Shoh, I take my hat off. I couldn’t do it. I needed to know. The perfectionist I am, I needed to prepare – physically and mentally. Well, at 39 weeks, Frances is going strong! She is looking radiant and has a wonderful contentment about her. Her whole being is happily inviting labour and birth, and both herself and Lloyd are calming waiting to meet their precious child. It is wonderful to see. I know Baby will be warmly welcomed – it makes my heart happy. We met at Radloff Park, along the Lourens River, in Somerset West where we walked scouting for nice spots. They brought along their beautiful Golden Retriever, Lilly, who was all too happy to be the centre of attention! The weather was perfect – It was warm and the sun-setting-light was magnificent. It was too beautiful. Tall stark trees against lush green grass, brightly lit by intense yellow rays. Perfection (almost ;-)). Do you get more perfect than a Mom (and Dad :-)) happily growing a new life. xxx

Lauren & Lexi | Mother Daughter | Cape Town Family Photographer

We met at the gorgeous Lourensford wine estate in Somerset West. Yep, my stunning home town! I was relieved to see that Granny was coming too! Oh, Grannies are wonderful! Boy, did this one go all out! Those super cute pic’s of Lexi laughing out LOUD, had me in STITCHES! The cherry on top, for sure, would have been a second shooter behind Granny… hehe There is something about these little ones, they make my heart sing! I love it! And little Lexi was no exception. What a stunning and beautiful little girl! I commented on her beautiful eyes, and Mommy proudly stated that they were her Daddy’s eyes! So with TWO (yes, two) bribery bags, off we went walking the estate! Lexi was wonderful and Mom too! A truly wonderful pair! Congrats, Mommy (and Daddy) on such a beautiful little girl! Thank you for the opportunity to photograph your family! xxx

Jeanne, Brendon and little Ethan | Cape Town Family Photographer

Here is some squishy baby cuteness for you! Little Ethan. He was born a few weeks prem and so at 9 weeks new he was still a teeny tiny little dude! Mom, Jeanne, was so anxious about the shoot as Ethan had not been well the past few days and was worried all we would get were crying pictures! But of course, Dad to the rescue! For ‘Dear Max’ | Cape Town Family Photographer

I was beyond honoured when Tanya Kovarsky asked me to take some photo’s of her son, Max, when they were visiting Cape Town over Easter. She is a Copywriter, Editor, Social media writer and Mommy blogger! No pressure! She runs a blog called ‘Dear Max’ where she writes almost daily to her Son. Such a wonderful idea and so wonderfully done! Please go see! I am so proud that she wanted me to take some of the pictures for her blog! 🙂 Max is so gorgeous! Mum had told me that he could be a little shy. Well, I had the perfect trick up my sleeve! I love painting, myself, so I got Max and Mum painting for the shoot! A real winner for Max!

The Haylett Family | Family

Liz and I worked together. We became pretty good friends, to the irritation of our Manager at the time! ;p We talked and talked and talked! I remember Liz being pregnant with her first born, Ysabelle. Oh how she loved her so dearly, since the very day she was concieved! Liz comes from a family of Girls and was convinced she was carrying a Boy. The first boy in many a generation! I kept telling her, nope, I’m afraid its a girl! ;p Never doubt this women, Im telling you! Liz got her little Boy, Noah. Not too long after Ysabelle! The perfect family! They were such a treat to photograph! And boy, did Noah make me laugh! Such a cutie!

Marilee & Christiaan | Baby | Cape Town Photographer

Oh these two were so sweet! Little Christiaan was happy, then sad… then alseep! Three seasons in one day! 😉 Marilee is a second time Mum and I can definitly see the difference – she is so relaxed. He cried – he could have screamed blue murder – and she was calm and collected. Not fussed or phased! And of course, it was not long and the little man was settled again. Nature is amazing. Absolutley loved photographing Marilee and Mr Chris!

Carolina & Stella | Christmas shoot | Cape Town Photographer

I absolutely ADORE these two, they just love my lens! I’ve photographed them before and absolutely loved the results, but these are just to die for! I was so DIEing to post some of these pics before delivering them to Carolina but she mentioned to me that this was a surprise for all her family back home in Brazil – It was killing me!! Little Stella is now 6 months old and I cannot believe how she is changing and becomming more and more beautiful! Well done Mum! and Dad… 😉 Sooooo much of cuteness! mwah! Oh my I could eat this up!

This little Man has got some super-dooper energy! Mum really does have her hands full! He is gorgeous – the easiest little fella to photograph. He took one look at me and I got all the smiles! Getting half of Christopher in my frame was a common occurrence… ants in those pants for sure! Little mischief!! Michelle & Jodi | Kiddies | Cape Town Photographer

Little Jodi is a real character. A funny and feisty little thing! What a personality she has got! She is bold with a very sensitive side – gorgeous soul! I absolutely loved shooting her. I had so many laughs. Jodi was terrified of the big Dogs on the farm and clung to mummy for dear life (so precious!) but heck when she found her feet again, it was play play play! Adore this… flying in the water! So sweet! Jodi knows all the moves to all the nursery rhymes… and mummy too! hehe This to me, is just tooo precious. mwah Jodi smell the flower… 😉 Mummy… eat!!
